Yes this is a partly opinion based blog, but its also a blog to remind people, the plainest things are sometimes the best (with the exception of plain oatmeal ewww)

Its also a reminder that some of the dullest outside books have the most amazing stories

This is also true when it comes to people

I am shy in public, terribly anxiety filled in crowds. I see what others miss.

A girl who writes on this blog has been crushed by the smirks and laughter of kids when she was a teenager, because she often tripped because of a deformed foot.
Did that mean she is not worthy of being treated nicely because she was born with a defect due in a large part to the way the dr delievered her, or because her very poor family couldn't get her the right shoes to correct the foot so she was left with damage no matter how hard they tried to make do with what they had to do some little change in fixing her foot? She is funny playful, caring and most of all the kindest person I know, yet she was stuck with judgements based on her outsides.

So many people missed out on her kindness, her support, her help, her gifts, because they couldnt see past her clumsiness because she has a limp and a foot disorder, they saw only the disorder, only the flaws, not the girl who would literally give her coat away to someone who was cold even if she was freezing, or go out in the middle of a street to rescue a hurt animal.

Some of the sweetest people I know have autism, or are crippled. Does that make them any less valuable?

Some of them you might see online and enjoy the things they wrote and never know they were "different"

So tell me then, why judge them badly in public and make them embarrassed and afraid to be around others?

The world is full of hurt. What I want to do (except for this blog's occassion humor posts) is give a spotlight to the kind people, who realize what really makes the most difference is those who can be kind and caring even when it isn't the popular or easiest thing to do.

Learn to not jump to conclusions with people. Unpretty 'covers' may not be the best to look at but ugly hearts inside are much worse.
This world will never be what I excepted, and if I don't belong who would have guessed it?
Just because it can't be a perfect world, or we don't fit, doesn't mean we can't try to make a bit of a difference and at least change how we look at others a bit.
If one person changes the way they treat someone, and that someone might have killed themself that night, it wasn't just a tiny effort to be a little nicer, it was a life-saving event.

Don't see the surface, look for what's underneath it.
Find the person not the skin. Find the heart not the cover.

I will not falter. I will be the one who tells the tales of those who will or cannot.
I am going to shine like the sun til I die...If the screams in the hospitals don't give me a stroke. I had more than my fair share of drooling and dragging a dead foot.
